A Special Thanks
His beautiful sister has been a true angel in watching over him. I can’t thank her enough. His aide at school has been like a second Mother to him. God blessed us by sending her into his life. I thank too all of his teachers that showered him with praise and encouragement and allowed both his mind and spirit to grow. All the wonderful coaches who allowed him to be equipment manager on their teams over the years deserve a special thanks as well. They gave my son so much laughter and love, and his happiness is so much greater because of them. I also want to thank every student that went to school with my son over the years. Even though my boy was different you always treated him with gentleness and respect. You made his life better with your loving smiles and kind words. You made him feel a part of your school and that has helped him to become such a special and beautiful person. All of you showed my son and me what life is really about. It is not about making a million dollars or having fame and worldly success. It is about loving each other, caring for each other, helping each other, and making every person in this world see that they too are a special soul created by God. It is not about making a living but about LIVING your life with goodness and compassion. Thank all of you then for helping my boy to grow up and become the wonderful, young man and loving soul that he is today. May God continue to bless you always. |
