Believe

God is so much bigger than your eyes can see...
God is so much more than your mind can comprehend...
God is much, much more than your emotions could ever feel...

Is He out there?
Yes, He is.
Are you sure?
Yes, I AM.
Does He care?
Yes, He Does.

But, He doesn't even know me...
Yes, He knows you by name.
But, I've never even talked to Him...
He is there just the same.

If I talked would He listen?
Oh yes, He hears and knows every word, every thought,
Every emotion, every breath that you take.
But I'm really nothing special...
Yes, you are... to Him.

But I've done...
It doesn't matter, not to Him.
But the places that I've...
It's nothing new to Him.

He wouldn't want...
Yes, He would... He's just waiting...
Waiting for what?
For you to ask...

Ask? Ask Him what?
To forgive you, and to make you new within,
And your past sins will be gone.
Gone?

Yes, vanished... as far...
As the East is from the West...
And Believe...
Believe what?

That Jesus died on the cross for your sins...
Believe that He...
Is the Son of God.
But I couldn't... Why would He do that for me?

Because He loves You
And Yes, you can...
Just say it and Believe...
Just Believe it?

Yes, believe it... and it's done!


I woke up early Sunday morning (4:00am) April 30, 2000, and could not go back to sleep. These thoughts kept going around in my head, so I felt impressed to write them down.
