A Tale Of True Love

The wonderfulness of God will never cease to amaze me.
May God bless you as you read along with Him.

I so look forward to each day,
With a great song of victory;
Serving with our Almighty God,
Marching within His company.

Every day I am amazed,
Amazed that He ever chose me;
A simple man of little worth,
I was doubtful, I did not see.

The One who made all life on earth,
And everything else that we see;
He kindly shines the sun upon,
All the sinners like you and me.

He never quits, He's always there,
Life eternal is guaranteed;
He gives us strength, a plan for life,
While offering us eternity.

He suffered while He took the blows,
From those who thought Him the enemy;
Christ did it all so we could come,
And be with Him eternally.

Ever watchful, counting our tears,
Asking, "Please, won't you follow me?"
Some hide in darkness and shadows,
Yet, He will never, ever leave.

The Prince of peace offers us rest,
And He will even wash our feet;
The Holy Lamb who forgives all,
Will cast our sins into the sea.

A love story He wrote then lived,
Just so that all of us could be;
With Him in Heaven forever,
Open your heart, our Lord you'll see.
