Oh the beauty of the dawn
Welcoming the brand new day!
Saying: "Child of the world,
Get ready now for work and play."

Gentle rest the night has offered,
Quieting the sun - stroked land.
Then comes dawn so refreshing
To encourage life so grand."

Are the restless ways unsettling?
Do they press upon the soul?
Let the gentle dawn of Jesus
