Good Samaritan Story

Based on:  St. Luke 10:30-10:35

The parable of a Good Samaritan is an excellent story
It was not about showing off, attention and never glory
A man was beaten, then left by the roadside for dead
Does anyone today take to heart the words the Savior said?

A man was robbed, beaten, left to die at the side of the road
And people passed him by as we are told
The Samaritan showed compassion, yes he cared for him
The poor man had no money but he still was the Creator's Gem,

Alas this Good Samaritan shall live throughout the ages
His story to be retold in songs and upon many different pages
Yes, this Good Samaritan helped a man along his way
Can we help the unfortunate to see a better Day?
