He Won't Remember

Some people joke about God and His Son,
they laugh and mock and wag their tongue.
They think it's cool to make fun this way,
not knowing there'll be a judgement day.

Yes time will tell who belongs to Him,
God needs some workers whose light is not dim,
to let the mockers know that He loves them still,
He'd save their soul and give them a thrill.

Father God is not out to hurt any one,
like a thief and a murderer who shoots to kill with his gun,
What he wants to do is love you so much,
that you can't live without His touch.

Once they have tasted and see He's so good,
He'll change their lives, they'll live like they should,
Their hearts and minds will be different then,
they'll turn their backs away from sin.

The God they once mocked, and joked about,
becomes their best friend without a doubt,
now they want others to find their way,
to the God up above who'll brighten their day.

It's just not that hard to give up your sin,
'cause when you do, you're bound to win,
You might be in bondage to many things,
but when God is through with you, it's worth everything.

How do I know what I'm talking about?
He saved and set me free, and there's no doubt,
if I can point you to the same goal,
I promise you, he'll save your lost soul.

Your life will be better your mind will be clear,
every Word in the Bible you will hold dear,
You're headed for heaven, your home in the sky,
you are going to meet Him the day you die.

He won't remember he was mocked, or the evil we've done,
it was for our sin that God gave His son,
He cast our sins in the depths of the sea,
no more he remembered it was me.
