If I Had Not Met Him

If I had not met Him,
and called on His name,
my life would still be empty,
my living would be vain.

If I had not met Him,
and tasted of His love,
I couldn't go live with Him,
In my mansion above.

If I had not met Him,
and had His fellowship sweet,
I would be like the lost man,
that lives on the street.

I was so lost without Him,
I was miserable but tough,
The life that I lived,
I could say it was rough

I once was a beggar,
I had no hope within,
when I met Jesus,
I was filled with sin.

He didn't seem to notice,
the look on my face,
He just showed me mercy,
and gave me his Grace

I'd like to share with you,
about His wonderful touch,
but until you've known it,
it wouldn't mean as much.

I would like to advise you,
if you'd like to meet Him,
He's never too busy for you,
and your friends, "Tell Them."
