There's somethin' about St. Paddy's Day
That sets me feet a-dancin'
And there's somethin' about old Ireland
That sets me heart romancin'

I just need to find that bonny lass
Who's waitin' for her laddie
When I look into her smilin' eyes
Her heart will go pitter-pattie!

She'll have a shamrock in her hair
Her long, red tresses flowin'
She'll curtsey as I bow to her
And wink as if she's knowin'

That I've been searchin' Emerald Isle,
The perfect lassie to see
I'll know it's her when she steps up
To dance an Irish Jig with me!
