Little Girls

Who wears dresses, bows and curls?
Who loves diamonds, jewels and pearls?
Who loves a frilly dress that twirls?
The answer must be little girls.

Who loves her little baby-doll?
Who loves stuffed bears and names them all?
Who dreams of going to a ball?
The answer I'm sure you'll recall.

Who dresses up in mother's clothes?
Who pretends to powder her nose?
Who loves to smell a blooming rose?
The answer, everybody knows.

Who dreams of a valiant knight?
Who enjoys a pillow fight?
Who is charming and polite?
The answer's plain as black-and-white.

Who is pretty, kind and sweet?
Who is dainty, nice, and neat?
Who's as precious as a pearl?
The answer must be little girls.
