My Daily Prayer

Jesus... keeper of my heart

And Savior of my soul,

grant me extra courage

as I journey down lifes road.

To have patience Lord with others,

'tis a lesson I must learn,

and to resist temptation

for its there at every turn,

Let me speak Your name aloud,

when those around me doubt

and when I see someone in need,

let me stop... to help them out.

Let me love my enemies

indeed all my fellowmen,

to offer prayer... not idle talk,

for those who live in sin.

Help me when I stumble

in the midst of daily strife,

to remember at roads end is peace

and everlasting life.
