Nailed To The Cross Was Jesus
To give His life for me, And pardon me from my sins, So that I may be free. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, Who did it all in love, So we may live with Him someday In paradise above. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, For us, His life He lost. So we may clearly see, That for us there is no cost. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, Resurrected three days later, To show the world His power And that His love is much greater. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, Who helped us see the light, So now we understand That His way is the right. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, Who hung there, in great pain But He told us it was worth it And it wasn't done in vain. Nailed to the cross was Jesus, Whose scars tell us the story, Of the King of all the Kings, Who deserves all honor and glory.
