A Selfless Act of Love

Upon that
Cross You
Bore our
Sins and
Gave our
  Outs full ins.
The brutal spikes, piercing Your skin, flesh to crucifix
Had You pinned: It’s there where our salvation begins.
And in that
Self-less
Act, it’s
All of us
Who win.
For when
You gave
Your life
For ours,
You Un-
Locked
Our chains
And freed
Us from
Our bars.
Your body
Branded
With
Eternal
Scars
Granted
Us Access
To Heaven’s
Stars.
