The Kittens' Tea Party

Mama Cat and her kittens
decided one day
to have a tea party
while the folks were away.
Mama boiled the water
and made catnip tea,
and sardines and tuna
(cats love fish, you see).
They daintily nibbled
each morsel and crumb,
then cleaned all their whiskers
and when they were done,
Mama poured catnip tea
into each kitten's cup,
and they leapt on the table
and lapped it all up!
