Angry looking pink heart.

Untold Velocity

Hate is strong but love is stronger . . .

Once there was a very angry little heart.
It was full of distrust and anger almost from the start.
It didn’t know love at all for it only knew hate.
It learned about revenge right out of the starting gate.

This is all the little angry heart knew as it grew.
It would take in more hate for that’s all it knew.
Then one day it met a heart that was filled with love.
And that loving heart planted a seed sent from God above.

Oh it didn’t happen immediately but that seed was planted deep.
It rooted and spread like butter on whole wheat.
The angry heart spitted and sputtered to shake it free.
But the seed keep growing like leafs on a tree.

The angry heart had no idea what to do with the new feelings it felt.
It tried hard to get angry but the anger started to melt.
It tried to remember the vengeance it had hidden.
That too was gone for all the hate was overridden.

All that was in this angry old heart was love and generosity.
And it too began spreading love seeds with an untold velocity.
